If you refused to bid, do not complain you did not get the contract. This Union is a Disgrace. I had my car serviced today at Timmons in Long Beach. The protester handed me a flier then when I went inside Timmons had a flier printed for their response. The way I understand it is the Union was offered an opportunity to bit on the contract to build Timmons Subaru new dealership down the street from their current location. The Union refused to bid. Now they are protesting because they did not get the job. I guess the feel entitled. Here is the funny part... They hired NON-Union folks to protest? You have to ask yourself, Do they feel their Union workers are too good for that job or are the Union Workers Rates too high. This Union is giving Unions a bad name. I am a current member of a Union now but I do not support the actions of this Union.

He needs to get sponsored by a union company. He can walk in to a local union hall and pick up a work list for jobs sites in the area.
This would be a perfect post for craigslist. It is illegal for union members to perform this type if work, which is considered "side work".
