They think you're an airport, you can only bring in bags that meet airport standards, lol.

I really like coming here because it's so quiet and easy for me to studio. I have to say though, the younger librarians (tall skinny white lady especially) are loud and break mine and many other people's concatenation. I wear head phones and cal still hear her cackling.

The library has security staff at the entrance and around the library. It seems that effort has been put in to maintain the place and ensure that users can enjoy the library as a place to read and learn. The female washroom is also locked and can only be accessed by a key at the front desk.

I have to echo what the others so far have said. These bums are absolutely ruining this city and no place is a better example than this formerly great library. I've been coming here since I was a small child and it used to be totally good. But now, loud, smelly, guys are everywhere. They come in with huge, well worn duffel bags(their life's achievements I suppose). And, of course, they pick the spot right next to ....you. Just a hellish place. the staff are complete morons too and some of them look homeless themselves.

What do I need to become a member of the library. I do not have a state ID yet I just moved here. Will they except an out of state license to become a member?

They will accept an out of state license to apply for a membership but the amount of materials that can be borrowed will be limited until the government ID provided matches the local address listed as a member's residence.
