Wild Wings of California is a wonderful place and my wife and I are so happy we found it while researching wildlife rehabilitation & rescue in our area. Kristine was very helpful and accommodating. I don't know much about birds but I sure do love them so I hope we just saved this poor boy. Call them if you are not sure what to do. I have birds flying into our windows every now and then. Some need a few minutes and they can fly away, so it's just a matter of being lucky enough not get caught by cats and dogs. Some need a day or two to recover from head injury and this place may just be the right one for them to survive, so if you care about birds and trying to save one, that's the place to go! Thank you Wild Wings of California!

I was desperate to find a place to take some orphaned baby squirrels. I finally dialed this number and got an immediate "yes we'll take them in!" The lady I met with was so sweet and caring. I highly recommend this organization if you love animals.

I found a baby sparrow who fell out of their nest in front of my house. I didn’t feel confident in my abilities to provide help to baby bird, so I called Wild Wings and they told that they were happy to take the baby in. I’m so grateful they did. God bless you for your kindness and life saving work

Had a hummingbirds nest at my house. Something must have happened to the mother bird. One of the babies didn’t make it. The other was left alone. I was so lucky to find these beautiful people to take in the struggling baby hummingbird. Bob was so kind and you can tell he has a deep love for animals. I’m so grateful for them and what they do. I hope the little hummingbird makes it.

The address is actually a home in a neighborhood. The latest I stopped by was around 7p, trying to be respectful that I was ringing someone’s doorbell, but Bb was welcoming and happy to help, despite the intrusion.

It is located in a residence. Call them.
I don't think they'll travel far is my guess. I drove from Burbank to drop it off there about 2 weeks ago, a baby hummingbird. But you can always ask how far they might travel. Pasadena Humane society will pick up birds at 11 different cities but unfortunately it wasn't burbank. There are other places on the coast, like Malibu that will take birds. Good luck!
You should call them. But I think they only take birds.
First thing I would do is give these people a call at (909) 592-4900 so maybe they can point you in the right direction.
Call them and see if they take sparrows. Since they are so common, many aviary places do not.
If anyone can help, its wildwings! Give him a call...
