Decent public course, very picturesque. No starters on course, slowed down to a full 6 hour round today. Clubhouse is closed or under renovation, port-a-potties substitute.

Lovely little track. Greens place deceptively quick, and break less than youd think. The club house is being repaired, there is no real snack bar, and you need to use a porta potty currently. The driving range is more like a net, and the balls you pay for are cracked, so dirty theyre black. Tee boxes and greens are im good shape, but the fairways and rough need a bit of love. All in all reasonable muni. Shot a 91.

Everything is great except pace. Green and fairway is really nice. Tee off saturday 8:40, finished rounding 2:15. Lots of beginners played.

I played here several times and always have a great time. Some holes are really tricky. To get a good score, just lay down some ambition and split the strokes; sometime regulation on green is just too hard. The course is not 100% well maintained but good enough for a good round. Out there in the canyon you can see some beautiful sceneries and gorgeous sunset if you play the twilight. Deers would take over the course in late afternoon early evenings.

Monday thru thursday is pretty fast. You can get 18 holes done less than 4 hours, sometimes 3. Thursday thru Sunday it gets increasingly crowded and very congested. Though monday to Wednesday is usually always fast.
You can't play golf and have something else you need to do unless you tee off at 6 am so relax and enjoy your golfing buddies or enjoy the scenery golfing beats anything else 🏌️♂️⛳🙂

I think you'd technically have to drop behind where you entered the cage, so unless a draw shot went left into it, then not a reward unless playing for fun and you want to reward yourself for it for some reason. Sounds like you would put it behind and have your fun from a great escape shot. I've done that and, yep it was fun; curved around and used the downslope to travel further.
