Hollie in the Children's Area was very bias towards my brown 2 year old daughter. I watched as she assisted with helping the other children, gave them things to paint, even allowed them to make signs to go on the window canvas. I thought this was very alarming and distasteful especially with this being a library for ALL to come and experience the fundamental aspect of reading and engaging. She never once looked up to say “hello” “do you need help looking for anything”, but was very friendly towards the other parents and children that were white, me and my daughter, we received nothing. And of course, my toddler doesn’t understand why the Liberian is catering to the other children and not a slight glance once acknowledges her or even when she heard my daughter ask if she could paint she literally ignored her. She(Hollie) literally waited till we walked out to then give the other kids stickers and treats from her zip loc bag. Everyone else seems to be friendly in this library but I will NEVER bring my innocent child here again. To be racial discriminated against or not to feel welcome in a place that is built to open ALL minds is baffling. Hollie should not work in the Children’s Area if this is the type of foul, hateful stigma she will be providing amongst the youth.

Nice reading and tutoring space with very courteous staff, especially for a Saturday. Staff were helpful and demonstrated they really "wanted to be there".Helpful and friendly, it was easy to remember what libraries are about, just by their demeanor.
