I like it, full hookups, quiet, but no restrooms or showers available on the side. Also, it wasn't kid-friendly, and even kids were not allowed there. It's Adults park. The weather was a lot windy. You will feel it in your RV. Suitable for those who are looking for boating & fishing. The management was friendly and helpful. Thanks for them

great place very friendly Charles and Harriet who managed the property great place quiet adult only very clean very well up kept but there's no there's no bathrooms or anything for everyone you have to have a self-contrained rig to come here and free ice which is the best but fantastic Resort

Great place to relax. The hosts were extremely friendly and everything was in great shape. There are no public restrooms/showers so your rv/trailer must have all the necessities to fulfill stay. There is easy access to San Joaquin River as well as lighted docks to fish off.

How's the fishing at Duck Island resort right now?

The fishing at Duck Island RV Park and Fishing Resort is currently slow from the shore and docks; however, resident Striped Bass, and Channel and White Catfish can be found in the river year round. Anadromous striped bass begin their spawning migration in the Spring and are found throughout the river from May through June. Sea lions and seals are catching large stripers and throwing them up in the air.

What year does your rv have to be to stay there? Im looking for our next trip.

The RV age limit of 2010 or newer only applies to month-to-month stays. RV campers must arrive in fully self-contained RVs because Duck Island RV Park and Fishing resort does not provide bathroom nor shower amenities.

We are looking to purchase a 5th wheel to live in full time. And will be looking for a place like yours to park the 5th wheel full time. Do you have a waiting list for full time spots?

Duck Island RV Park and Fishing Resort - All campers and guests must be 18 years of age or older. | Sep 1, 2021

Yes, we have a waiting list for month-to-month RV sites but dry storage is unavailable. The monthly rent is $700 which includes 30/50 amp electric, water sewage, garbage and tax. We are a fishing resort so we only rent half of our sites for monthly rentals. Duck Island is an adult RV park and no one under 18 is allowed due to the river risk. Monthly RV age must be 2006 or newer. Please call our office to be added to the waiting list at (800) 835-3898 or (916) 777-6663.

Fishing is pretty good year round if you can deal with the wind on any given day. Expect winds at any time some days more some days less.
