After many wonderful visits to Mos over the years, our experience on Sunday was terrible. We arrived at 4:30pm with a light crowd, ordered our drinks, drinks came, ordered our food, and that’s when the problems happened. It took 75, yes 75 minutes for our food to come to our table. During that time our server only came to the table once. She apologized for the wait and gave us a free round of drinks. Only half of the drinks were delivered. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best and 1 of our steaks was red rare in the middle. We asked to speak to the manager. Our server came back and she told us both of the managers were helping in the kitchen and couldn’t talk. However, 3 of our meals would be free. The bill was still over $100. The shift leader came to our table and apologized but offered lots of excuses of which that did not go over well with our group. We wanted solutions NOT excuses. In fact, he said “it is what it is” and he can’t change the past. Not the right words to say to a frustrated dinner group. I usually don’t write bad reviews but this was a terrible experience from a place we used to enjoy.

I highly enjoy Mo's. While I hadn't been to Mo's for years until this spring, I started coming to this location when it opened -- I previously lived in walking distance of it, and it was a favorite hang out year round -- indoors and outdoors. The food is great, their grilled cheese is one of my favorites, and it pairs fantastically with their tomato soup. Their apps are wonderful. The cheese curds are a bit heavier than others with the beer batter, but good still yet. The service has always been friendly and efficient even when we came with large parties. I haven't had anything bad here. They also serve Sprecher's root beer in the bottle.

Food was delicious so hats off the the chef and kitchen crew! However, our waitress was not as great. The host sat my husband and I down with the menus, waitress comes and takes our order. We get the order not too long after and she said she would be back with napkins and if we needed anything. Nope napkins would be great... never saw her again until the check needed paid. I know its Friday night and you can be busy with back-to-back seating of guests but she didn't even attempt to try and check in, see if we needed refills, or if we even liked the food (which again the food was fantastic!). We could have gotten better service at the bar. Our waitress just wasn't attentive which kind of ruined date night for my husband and I - we have both worked BOH and FOH in restaurants we know what is expected for good customer service and when we receive it we tip, even if you TRY and aren't great it is better than nothing and we still tip because you at least put in effort.

My family and I went there for dinner Sunday night. The place wasn't really busy but we had the worst experience. First we wait just for our server to show up. Our food took entirely too long and it was cold. He said it was because we had steaks. I get they take longer but for them to show up ice cold and then to find out mine was pink on the inside was upsetting. I told our server that I was pregnant and have to have my food fully cooked. I never get up and complain, but I have special needs and when my husband saw me get up, then he was really upset. He knows that's out of my character. I talked with a different server then ours and she apologized and said they were short staffed. I understand short staffing because of the job I do, but the place wasn't that busy and people who were seated after us were given better service and there food was given faster. On top of all this I had to ask the server many times to take away our dirty dishes. That's horrible customer service. I do not remember his name but he was a very tall skinny white male. The day we visited was March 13th. If we ever chose to stop in at Moe's again it will be the downtown location. Hopefully they know how to give good customer service
