Appreciate the hard work, despite all the problems we have in our country still our diplomats and consulates are here to help our citizens. I called and talked to Passport office, all questions answered in a very professional way, I sent the passport with all the required documents and fees to extend. in a couple of days I received the passport with extended sticker on it back. I needed an entry permit for my 4 years old . The guy at the window was awesome. He was great in responding to people’s questions. He even rushed and finished my work quicker when I told him we have a flight to catch. I asked for his name, so I could use it in this review, but he said it is against the police. It was a completely different experience than what I had in 2015 when I visited the consulate for the first time. Thank you!

Great Consulate..just a bit hard to find. The services were quick and easy, and the staff was very friendly. The Afghan lady who does most of the work it seems was very efficient and to the point. Thanks for that! ډیره مننه The phone response is a bit slow, but they did respond eventually. One could try routing to them through the Afghan Embassy in Washington which I Did. I have mixed feelings about the place. Customer service staff are polite with low energy and void of any desire to be helpful or to get things done in a hurry. Good luck getting any helpful information or guidance from them. They have no motivation, risk or reward to provide better or efficient service. It's like going to DMV and expecting customer service.

Salam. My latest experience. First we should prepare these documents. 1 old passport 2 tazkera 3 green card 4 passport size photos 3 each Then go to afghan consulate website and upload all the about document and fill the form. Then if you know someone you can call and finish your work in 1 hour in Los Angeles If you dont know anyone then after uploading all above documents for every individual then make an appointment (maybe you can get appointment in may or june 2021) be there on appointment day and have one plack and white copy of your documents
You can apply online take 2 inch photo fill the application form Do your finger print in finger print store make 2 money order 120+10+15 and send with your original tazkara to consult in New York
Not a professional. I don't think they need anything except afghan visa back home on their passports.
Hello, Yes, they do not renew their passports for now, but they give them a new one for five years, and if necessary, you will get a new one in three to four days.
Salam call the consulate first. If you are a mother you need ejaza nama from your husband. If you are a husband you need a ejaza nama from mother of a child. But just to save yourself from a lot of headache and waste of time call the consulate first. .

The entry permit is for those who born out side of the country not the in afghanistan so when they need to go to afghanistan they need an entry permit and you can ask for it from consulate it cost only 10$
