I was pleasantly surprised! I came 30 mins prior to my appointment time and was seen immediately. The entire process took about 8 mins. Keep in mind, I applied for a UK Student Visa, so I did not require as much paperwork as some other individuals may. Be rest assured that you will be met with extremely kind and professional individuals who will do their best to get your paperwork submitted quickly!

I did passport renewal. They deserve a 5 star imo. Its tuesday and my appointment was 1PM. I was called in like 15-20 minutes after because there was only 2 person and 1 person went to lunch around 12:30 when i got there. It was very smooth i finished it in less than an hour. I only had a problem because my last name on my application form is missing a period. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE EXACT DETAILS AND MATCH WITH THE PASSPORT. Also make sure you have all of the required papers and copies. I dont know where you can get it copied in the building. Forms that were required to me: 1) Passport & Photocopy (they didnt ask for the visa) 2) Application Form 3) Green card & photocopy (they asked for green card specifically) But its always better to have photocopy of one of each valid ID just to be sure. ‼️NO NEED FOR SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE FOR PICKING UP( If you’re going to pick it up, you dont need it because i saw some people saying that you should have it but never specified even for pick up. I asked the black guy at the front desk if i need the envelope and the two way courier but he dont know any of those but i saw some people availed the service so i dont know how who to ask) ‼️Dont waste your money buying it ‼️ I dont know what all of the negative comments are but they were all very nice to me probably its those people that doesn’t have the required documents. I’d say dont make an appointment on lunch where they take lunches too. There was no line after me. Don’t get upset at workers for doing their job. Its not their fault for being short staffed The only con is additional $45 for the convenience fee which kind of sucks but i guess its better than waiting for the philippine embassy appointment which is almost impossible to make AND maybe try to stay away from two way courier because there’s one person who was waiting for it for 2 months and she came in and finding out her passport is still there. Idk if she got a refund but if you can pick it up just do it.

I just walked in today without an appointment for my e-passport renewal and everybody's nice and accommodating...they explained everything and give me options and they're fast. Thank you guys and more power....

Submitted my passport for temporary visitor visa for Canada through their 2-way courier service which was seamless and smooth. Received my passport in 7 business days with the visa, safely secured in an envelope of its own within the FedEx package. Just follow the instructions right once you receive the confirmation letter after paying for 2-way courier. Note - PLEASE pay for the courier on their Postal Application portal, and DON'T ask for shipping labels via email. The chat representatives are very helpful if you have any questions.

Honestly I looked for a very long time and called a lot of number and as far as I can tell there is no public number available for the front desk or another kind of help center. You can message them on Facebook of twitter, I had to message three of their accounts, but they did respond on one of them! on Facebook. But unfortunately they only responded to my first question and never responded to my second one. I ended up walking in there myself. It’s on the fourth floor at the end of the hall
They dont usually accept walk-ins, and making appointments is thoughts thing, their website is not accurate and no availabilities shown, try to email them, their email address is on there website
we got it in 3 days flat- deposited Passport in person on Friday and picked it up on Tuesday. this was for Canada visitor visa. End-to-end from time of applying online to IRCC Canada thru biometrics and then thru pp pickup was 14 days. Maybe our cases were expedited for 2 reasons - had multiple entry 10 yr US visitor visa and travel date was within 4 weeks of application date. To summarize, extremely quick service from both consulate and VFS VAC @ LA.
For VFS Los Angeles appointment is not required before you go. But, even if you would make an appointment. You must go on their Website.
walk ins are generally not encouraged thay might tall you to come back later or try again in couple of days, due to availability. also there is 50$ of walkin fee

You can book an appointment online as well before visiting the consulate office. They accept walk-ins too but they take appointments first.
You have to schedule an appointment online, then in the appointment form it will include instructions and things to bring.

Yes...You should call or go online and get an appointment for Biometrics and then show up 2 hrs early and fill your application and then do Biometrics on the same day
