Spectacular views and outstanding wines in Calistoga, Napa Valley! Fun trip up the aerial tram to the top! My sister and I visited with our sons in 2017. Vineyard will be reopening for tours and tastings in spring/summer 2023.

First ever wine tour and I LOVED it! The venue offered great views, great tastes and very interesting tour. Got the basic package and that was more than enough for me, the final tasting was at their "rooftop" and the view was spectacular!

Please book and go early on the weekends. you have to take the gondola to the actual winery. There were a lot of tasting station. We booked the Platinum pairing experince. I would say that the staff at our table could use a little more improvement. Food was actully better than I expected. Bring comfortable shoes because you will be walking around the winery. The sight was gorgeous on top of the castle like winery. You'll want to dress nice for lots of pictures.

Good experience for the sky gondolas, but that’s it. They really didn’t care about giving the history of the wine, it is a self serve walking tour and they have a wine stop in each corner with each type of wine. We were upgraded to the silver experience at no cost and we could try some special selection wines that were better, but weren’t served at the right temperature. We would recommended for the view at the terrace bar and the gondolas, but not a real wine lover experience

Swallow it whole
i had a 20 year merlot a few years ago and it was spectacular. however some merlots do not age well. take a chance and open it for a large party but do not decant. i am reasonably certain that decanting will ruin it. ken

Don't keep it in a warm place as Rose's mature quicker with warmth. Best is the keep somewhere cool or even refrigerator, but avoid storing for too long in fridge, 5 days, as this will enhance the flavors. So try to keep it cool but not cold.
