Definitely a very friendly and personable winery. My husband and I made a last minute/walk-in tasting on our last day of our anniversary trip. We were immediately greeted with smiles. Marilou was very accommodating. The winemaker Rob Hunter came and sat with us and made us feel at home and valued. He gave a great wine-tasting 101 (I asked) and I came away feeling more in-tune to how I appreciate wine. Our tasting host Scotty was just awesome. He shared funny stories and anecdotes the whole time. There were two tasting selections and we chose one of each. We came away and purchasing wine from both listings!

We’ve tasted at quite a few smaller production wineries and this was by far our favorite tasting . The atmosphere was so perfect , beautiful and peaceful and Jose had a depth of knowledge superior to any tasting rep at any other winery we’ve been to . He and his colleague Bill were also entertaining , with great senses of humor and all of the wines were exceptional! Needless to say we joined the club

What an awesome place to try some wine. The staff are fantastic. The wine is good. The views are phenomenal. My partner and I felt comfortable asking novice questions about wine, and never made it felt like we were asking a stupid question. We would definitely return here on a future trip to Calistoga.

We had a lovely time tasting at Bennett Lane. It was such a relaxing experience to sit on the patio and take our time tasting. That can’t be said for other wineries in the Napa Valley at the moment! We loved our server who took just the right amount of time to explain each wine and answer our questions, but wasn’t too much in the way so we were able to relax and visit with our friends. They even helped us out by shipping our credit card back to us after we left it behind. 😆 The wines are delicious too! 🍷
