Very helpful and caring staff. My son got a lab mix we've had her for 4 years now amazing dog and healthy . They have helped me find my old dog and they were very professional. Great job guys.

Employees were not friendly. As soon as I walked in, the place smelled which leads me to believe it's not clean. The dog I was looking at was having a hard time at the shelter. Their solution was to keep the poor dog at the shelter. I actually feel sorry for all the animals in this shelter. I'm not convinced the employees have the animals interests at heart.

I found a beautiful dog running down Hwy 64. I was fortunate enough to get him in my car. The staff were very helpful in finding his owner. Well run and professional. I really appreciate their help.

I have been searching for a family dog for the past month. This shelter volunteers and staff were great. I contacted them via Petfinder on a weekend night and received an almost instant response with help. By Tuesday morning the adoption process began and let me just say it's been wonderful. When I was applying Paul the Shelter Manager was giving me tips on how to handle the specific dog I was adopting. He also said don't hesitate to call if we needed further help or had any questions. By far from my experience with more known facilities this shelter is a diamond in the 'ruff'. It was well worth my drive down from the Asheville area to adopt our new family member from this loving and helpful staff and volunteers. I cannot say enough about TCAS.

It's a no-kill shelter. I don't know why people are saying it isn't. Sometimes they have to transport dogs to those places but that's very rare from what I've seen.
Check on Facebook on Brother Wolf's page to see when they will be back this way. You can also email the young lady who coordinates the whole thing. Her email is on their Brother Wolf posts.
You will have to call the Transylvania County Animal Shelter directly to see if they have someone available.
You have to be 18 and there not hiring pluss you have to do training first i would know my brother worked there so i got to work there pluss you have to put down animals and clean the first few months
I think you go up to the front desk and fill out paper work
