Today was our first time canoeing on the Caney. WOW! The 9-mile trip down the river was magical!!! We saw so many trout… deer and cows drinking from the river… and so many peaceful views that made this experience so memorable. If you are looking for something fun and relaxing, make it down to Canoe at the Caney, and make sure you see Chase! The whole staff is SUPER friendly and helpful! We appreciated all the safety tips and for taking great care of the equipment!

The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They make certain you have everything you need for a fun day on the river. Will most definitely return to do this again!

Great day on the river. Great place and people. Everyone was helpful and we enjoyed the 3hr float. Next time will definitely do the 6hr. We did not want to stop we had such a great time and the water was so clear in places.

Very Fun! Booked online, very easy check in, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable van ride to the drop off point and from the pick up point. The river was very easy and safe, very pretty. In early November, we enjoyed the 60 degree weather, saw cranes, cows, eagles, fish, and ducks. Beautiful foliage and rocky mountain sides, plus the bridges. They have an excellent app that keeps track of how far you are on the River and it gives you verbal announcements, and helps the office coordinate their pick up. Would come again.

The rental varies. Check their website. I buy the season pass because it is the best deal if you go more than 3 times. I go way more than 3 times each year as it is very relaxing to me and less than an hour's drive. I always check the TVA generation schedule (on top of the Canoe the Caney website -Center Hill dam) You want at least one generator operating. Water is very low after they stop generating...not as much fun. Seriously, this is more fun than hard, so bring along food, refreshment for an island or bankside picnic and friends. Canoe the Caney does all of the work...you just get in the kayak, play, get out. People wth long waits are walk- ons with no reservations that arrive on weekends or holidays or days, when buses arrive with no reservations. I was there one day when 2 buses and a van did this! Make reservations 2 or more days ahead for weekends and holidays. Shuttles usually run at the top of the hour until 2pm. I arrive about 30 mins prior...ex 10:30 for 11.00 shuttle
Yes, if you bring your own kayak we offer a shuttle service to get you to the river and then picked up at the end point.
Hi Keagan! For safety reasons, we do have a no alcohol policy.
If I had a dog and I wanted him to enjoy the river with me and I knew my dog could swim we would enjoy the day together.
All good
