Great place and super convenient if staying at famcamp, only about a mile away. Some useful information: They do have rental clubs. The driving range uses ball machines that are cash only unless you purchase a range key which you preload money onto. Very convenient and they give a discount. The driving range is 24/7 unless it's raining. This is a huge perk, just bring cash or key. Always hit in the direction of the water tower, this will keep the cars and peds safe. The proshop is pretty nice and staff super friendly. Balls purchased in $1, $3, $5 increments. Very affordable, cheapest around.

Played the South course, good shape although it was pretty wet in places, enjoyed it very much - 2/18/22 driving range trees in better shape looks like the grass is growing again

Bay Palms has 2 courses, North and South. Historically, the South course has been the best of the 2. The North course is cheaper. The practice facility is also pretty great, with a large range, a bunker area, a chipping area, and a putting green. The restaurant 8 iron grill is nice, and so is the pro shop. During the summer, you absolutely will need bug spray, as the mosquitos are out in full force. In the winter, it is one of my favorite budget friendly courses around.

I use it because it is convenient to my work and home. The practice facilities are fine, but you'll mostly be in direct sun. There is no shade to be found. Both courses are playable land well designed even though the maintenance is only average. Biggest drawback is that most people will be paying $40+ round. I would give this 4 starts at 20-25 a round. The value is not really there.
