Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was nice. Staff could not have been friendlier. Pool was a basic pool, but clean and great temp. Enjoyed our stay there . ONLY complaint was location. Located next to very busy road. Even by pool it was kind of noisy, yet you could still enjoy it. Behind hotel was not so great shopping center, saw three homeless people sleeping there at night. I did not like the location, other than that i truly would have given them a 5. And that is not something they can help. Thank you for a great 3 day stay!

CHECK YOUR INVOICE BEFORE YOU LEAVE! I booked online through the Hilton Honors app a few hours before I was to arrive at the hotel. Received a confirmation email with my room rate, taxes, and total price for stay. HOWEVER I elected to receive my invoice via email when I checked out. When I reviewed my invoice I found I was charged $21 more than my confirmation email total price for stay showed. I called customer service and after discussing the issue for about 25 minutes I was told that I was given a better room than what I booked. I did not ask to be upgraded and was not told when I checked in that I would have to pay a higher room rate. Then I was told that he called the front desk and they told him they added on a "convenience fee". I did not get my issue resolved and talked to the associate's manager, who opened a claim against the hotel and I will get resolution within 72 hours. Shortly after ending the call I received ANOTHER invoice from the hotel with that showed the room rate that was on my confirmation email but an added $21.08. Nothing on the invoice to indicate what the additional $21.08 was for. It seems the hotel management is trying to cover up the fact that they overcharged me. Nice hotel, clean room, good breakfast options. Unfortunately there seems to be some deception taking place with the billing. PLEASE confirm your confirmation rate when you check in and don't check out without reviewing your invoice.

This location was closest to the Villages, where I was attending a family event. Everything about this hotel suited me just fine. Contactless check-in and check-out was offered, although I preferred to check in and out at the desk. The staff was friendly and helpful; the hotel and my room seemed very clean; my "king Executive Suite" room was about the same price as all the other rooms but was HUGE and extremely comfortable. It had a very large desk, a sofa and a chair, which I appreciated. I was pleased with the small but nice fitness center and also the business center. The breakfast was terrific, and complimentary coffee was available 24/7. Parking was convenient, and plenty of luggage carts were available when I checked in and also when I checked out. I will definitely stay at this location again on my next visit to see family at The Villages.

What a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I booked my stay through booking.com and arrived to be greeted by a very pleasant young man. I am a Hilton Honors member as well. When I couldn’t use Apple Pay, I offered up my Visa and the young man said they had it on file as well as my Hilton Honors details, gave me my room keys and I went to my room. Other than the large mirrored door to the cupboard being so off its hinges it was leaning against the wall, the room was as expected. The next day I received a call from the manager saying there was a problem with the Visa. I asked him which one they used and he quoted the wrong Visa number to me. I gave him the correct final four digits, explained that the booking was through booking.com, he “Dan” said that he saw where the mistake was made and would sort it. He also mentioned that he had been in the room and had seen the door leaning against the wall. All seemed fine until I returned to the hotel that evening. I asked to see the manager. I wanted to ask him about the door and check that all was sorted with the Visa. He wasn’t there. The young woman behind the desk told me quite gleefully that I had been locked out of my room for non-payment which was quite a surprise as they had my visa, I had spoken to Dan, and I was sure that I had paid. The young woman was incredibly rude to the point where I said that I would pay for the night, collect my things and leave even though I had nowhere to go. I simply didn’t want to stay at a hotel that had such rude staff. Eventually she called the assistant manager (while telling me that she really didn’t have to help me) who did show up half an hour later. She took my Visa, charged more than what Booking.Com had booked me in for and gave me new keys. There is more to the unpleasant exchange with the young woman behind the desk but it is not worth rehashing it. Suffice it to say she told me to call Booking.com, which I did, they gave me the number of the hotel to call, which I did. The young woman seemed inordinately pleased that she had made a long day for me, even longer, prevented me from eating a meal for almost two hours (I have dietary issues) all so unnecessarily. So, in summary, this hotel had a broken door in the room that could have fallen on someone, rude staff behind the desk, a problem with their book keeping that caused the visa number to be changed, and managers who aren’t available to solve problems that they actually created.
