The fact that some of these recent reviews state anything about pricing is really sad to me. If you have had even one eye open and half an ear, you have to see the rate of inflation and how rough the country has had it to keep things on the shelf and prices reasonable. These days keeping the doors open of a small shop like this would be difficult in a GOOD economic timeframe- let alone through a time where even big chain stores are having major issues. It saddens me to see anyone leaving a less than desirable review over pie crust? If you’ve eaten their pies and loved them before.. and now all of a sudden it’s different.. (if you don’t have the common sense as to why things would change in a near recession) why not ask the store owner or manager what happened rather than publicly shaming such a small business that’s doing the best the can? I understand not being able to afford higher prices as a customer, but personally I would not leave a bad review for that? Honestly.. I hope you people never have to struggle to keep your doors open the way I’m sure small businesses have over the last three years. If you’re local or from Floral city area and have known this family for the long haul, you should definitely feel ashamed to publish something negative publicly- especially if you previously loved the quality of this store. Don’t be surprised when they close up shop because it gets to be too much all together. I just wanted to let you guys know that you’re appreciated and I understand how difficult it can be.

This place has always had the best strawberry pies. Not anymore. They said they couldn't get the pie crust in but they used a publix pie crust instead . The WORST pie crust ever. Hard and thin like crackers. Will not buy another until they use the crust they have had used in the past. Plus pie size is so much smaller

Great little place to visit for some fresh fruit and goodies. We love their strawberries, blueberries and citrus. We always make it a point to stop in when we can. The strawberries are so good! They even have "white" strawberries. Great prices, nice people, clean store and covid precautions taken. The strawberry and orange shakes are so delicious and refreshing. Orange is my favorite. They also have other great items in the store like spices, cheese, candies, jams, meat, etc.... The area is beautiful and it's nice to sit and swing under the Grandfather oaks or picnic tables. Also accessible from the trail because it's right behind it.
