Its a must anytime I'm in san diego. Great playground and don't forget an extra set of clothes for the kiddos to splash around in!!Street metered parking is the trickiest, but that's usually the norm in any downtown area. Plenty of paid lots around the park.

Beautiful place to bring your kiddos. Free. And they can play in the water. We love this place ❤

I've been emotionally distraught, mentally drained and physically exhausted! Waterfront Park, Almost immediately took my Anxiety away! Park was Peaceful and Serene! Yet, full of Life! People, Cars, Bicycles, Skateboarding, Dogs playfully running, children splashing in the waterfall, Homeless people laying down on Benches, Security Guards Canvassing area, Ships Standing, Boats Gliding thru the Ocean and Glistening, Ripples Dancing on the water! Clear Baby blue Skies with the most Life Giving Light that Calmed My Heart Wrenching Troubled Heart n Warmed Me Up Inside soothing my inner most Demons and turned them into Dare I say Sparkling Diamonds! This is what I needed to brighten my Spirits and Help me see Bright Sunshine Thru My Deeply Clouded Thoughts and Opened Up The Way to Seeing That All Is Good With The Universe and I just need to Take a Moment to Soak in the Many Reasons to be Grateful for the Simple things and center myself with Nature! & Nature will run its course!

This is a fantastic spot to come with children. There’s the splash pad section which is pretty much for all ages. The city keeps it very clean and no pets are allowed. It’s nice that it’s by a big grassy area which you can come with an umbrella and snacks. There’s also the park part which is designed for kids 2 and up. The park is very nice but there were some homeless people that got on the playground and were scaring the kids. The park is fantastic but security should be tighter at this park for families to feel safe.

Yes. If you have a question for the County Admin Building in the park, you can park free in the paeking structure below accessible on Ash St.
Nice safe place to relax with the family
Meter parking along the PCH and streets around the park. Also parking lots with pay kiosks along side of the main street. Parking enforcement is serious!
No there's no camping allowed
Open to public
Yes .. only gas and a permit is required in the office and they give you place .. because it has to be on land ..
At 5:30 pm
Not sure but if can as long you follow the rules you should be able to.
There are charcoal pits available and If you have a small propane grill you can use that as well
When I was there last week, I kept seeing an open network named "FREE SD WI-FI" or something like that. I had my own so I didn't try it out though.
No. This is downtown city park. Mission bay has a place where RVs can park.
If the art show is outside you should be okay. Least dogs are perfectly fine outside at this waterfront park by the Embarcadero in front of the city building and everywhere else. Just be sure to clean up after your dog. If the art show is cordoned off or secluded or has barriers than maybe you should check with the art show producers.
Apply early and depending on the number of guests you bring it might cost more. Space is limited. Call the park for more information. And have a blessed day.
