So this is hard for me to write. Alex was an awesome waiter, kind, considerate, professional. The restaurant has morphed into a gem over the years. Acquired and paved the lot next door. Then enclosed the front patio and planted foliage to lower the noise for patrons and then added the outside on the left, then plastic shades then A/C. So if you ask for outside you're really inside. And I know locally COVID never happened in FL but closing the outdoors in is not outdoor seating. The food was ok but as they have moved over the year's from the original Tapas concept to the newer more like everyone else menu the physical plant excels and the food suffers. I'd still go again but be very careful about what I order the Bolognese might as well have been Beef-a- Roni from Chef Boy Ardee. I hope they reset the food menu at some point because I come for the food really not the physical plant. My point is what made them successful in order to pay for the physical improvements they have abandoned for lowest common denominator food.

What a disappointment! Been going there for years and it was our go to place with our Pop and his wife. I love their veal meatballs! But I’ve been there about three times in the past month and was saddened by the food quality all three times. Tried the minestrone soup which was very bland and missing pasta. IMO minestrone should have some kind of noodle. We ordered the special crabmeat salad which was tasteless…we were expecting lumps of white crabmeat and it looked like leftover 3 day old crabmeat from the fridge…we couldn’t even eat it. The pork chop special my son ordered was deep fried!! It was a huge portion…look like a piece of pork that was pounded paper thin and thrown into the deep fryer. I’m so saddened as I write this…I have so many memories dining there with my family and I don’t know if it changed hands or what, but the quality is not the same.

I liked it but didn't love it. Food was very tasty, but didn't have a wow factor but house Salad was big and the chicken meatballs were delicious. Inside is cold and sterile. It doesn't have much ambiance or intimacy. $42 for a new York strip that I thought the menu said $39 and it just didn't have the flavor impact i was hoping for but was cooked to specified temp. The roasted vegetables and mushrooms were also underwhelming. Waiter forgot my Steak Knife and Glass of Red wine with my meal. The Fruti De Mar pasta was also good but the textures had consistency. . Hint of lingering heat which was interesting but the flavor profile was middle of the road for me. I don't know much. I'm probably offending someone. Cocktails are $15 each. The Lychee Martini was mostly good but had this weird undertone taste like a dirty martini. The old fashioned was strong and very sweet, i prefer less sweet. No appetizers and no second drinks. Our bill came to $166 + tip.

This place is out of this world. Amazing food quality, ambiance, and staff. Angelo imports everything from Italy so the quality and authenticity is definitely there. We started with a meat and cheese board and then moved on to some pizza, chicken meatballs, and some mussels. Everything here was on point.

Same like everywhere, mask to enter off to eat then back on
4 to 7 at bar only
Coming from the north, cross over Commercial Blvd & (8 blocks south) keep him eye on your right-hand side. You'll see La Bamba Mexican restaurant & Angelo is immediately after it.
