Bad service, very rude! Went there today July 25th @ 3pm. We were helped by a short Latina lady, didn't get her name and we ordered a family meal through drive thru, with mashed potatoes, beans and tortillas as side dish then I wanted to replace the tortillas for salad and she said I cannot replace it. Then went to the window, she told us, they didn't have mashed potatoes, she could have told us that when we ordered. No apologies for it then she asked me what to replace for it so we end up getting a salad. Also, I thought the price was $23.99 and she charged me $26.99 plus tax so I asked why and she just told me to look at the receipt, no explaination at all! Not going there anymore, the service is horrible!

Burn over cooked and thr coleslaw was old dark nasty. I bought the 16 p family meal and churros. Asked for tortillas de maiz y me dieron de harina. To much money for a big desapoiment

This is the only location I come to when I'm in San Diego. The chicken is seasoned well, flame broiled and the kids love how they can build their own tacos. Tried the birria quesadillas, not bad for a chain restaurant but I've definitely had better. Feeling satisfied...

I don't know about you, but if I smell a toilet backed up just before eating, I loose my taste for what I want to eat. WELL, that's what happened here!!! And don't go to the restroom to wash your hands!!! OMG!!! I wanted to tell the Mgr. about this so badly but I didn't want to embarrassed my friend with me. As soon as we walked🚶‍♂️in, he said "let's get it to go." I knew what he meant. But I really wanted this food because I came all the way from Texas to work here for a few days and we don't have El Pollo Loco's in East Texas. The store looked clean but the smell said otherwise! Yes, the food was great 👍😋👌😀 and 🔥 like we expected.
