I booked a room with a published rate of $78.00 per night. When we checked we were charged $99.90. When I questioned the rate I was told since I booked thru a third party the rate was $99.90. I asked for an adjustment, was told the manager would have to make the adjustment. Never heard of such a thing. The motel is going thru a remodel and changing to Extended Stay so none of the rooms on the first floor were available. We were put into a room in the second floor. We discovered the TV didn't work and were moved to another room. The hotel had no hot water and very little water pressure. There was no hot breakfast, coffee, fruit, granola bars were offered. We were informed this was due to remodel. Again I asked for an adjustment on my bill and was once again told the manager would have to make the adjustment. After not seeing a credit to my credit card I called and spoke to the manager. Have not received a credit as of this date.,

We were here on a family vacation and #1 reason was they allowed us to stay with our two dogs. Starr, our rep who answered many questions on the phone before we arrived, was extremely helpful all during our stay. Our first two nights were very restless, the hotel being in the middle of a name change and remodel, had some workers in the next room late night. She stopped them and then on the third day she allowed us to change rooms that was much better, allowing our dogs, and us, to sleep much better. The location was central to many of the museums and restaurants that we visited, so it was a pretty good jumping off point for us. There was no breakfast available, again since they were in the middle of a transition. The rooms were adequate, nothing fancy, but having beds and a bathroom were all we really needed.

Friendly staff. Clean room. We arrived after 1am and checked in. Got everything into our room and started the shower and the shower head literally shot off the pipe. There were no other rooms available, so the night manager went to find a replacement shower head. 45 minutes later he had it installed, but we were dead on our feet by then and opted to postpone the shower til morning. Not a bad place to stay, the complimentary breakfast is respectable; but our experience was heavily impacted by the shower fiasco.

The front desk agent Zach was extremely helpful, not just during check in but through our entire stay. We only stopped in to get out of the weather after driving for 10 plus hours and we couldn't have found a nicer hotel and front desk agent than this hotel and Zach. He made sure we had everything we needed and put in the extra effort for us. He got us a great room and we really enjoyed his personal touch and attention that he brought to our experience. I'd recommend this hotel and it's staff, especially Zach, to anyone seeking great accommodations and friendly atmosphere at a reasonable price. Thank you so much for making our stay worth while and providing such a great and interactive experience. You are awesome Zach, can't wait to stop back by next time we're in town.
