The hotel is run down with few repairs being made. The room was clean but wallpaper was peeling. The room was next to the elevator and was noisy. It was so loud, the walls shook. The stopper in the sink was disconnected, but was repaired on request. Only a few floors had working ice machines. My floor smelled moldy around the ice machine. There was water leaking from the ceiling on the first floor. The hotel was understaffed but the employees present tried hard to be pleasant & understanding.

Just finished up a 4 day convention with over 700 attendees and the event could not have been better! Management, Amanda, Gina and Dawn made sure everything was where it should be when it should be and pitched in with their staff to make sure it all happened on our timeline. The chef made fabulous meals served hot and kept track of all the special needs diets involved with so many attendees. The AV people, Bill and Bob, were always there when needed and all our presentations went smoothly because of that. Rooms were clean and everything worked well. I will work with these people anytime!

This hotel is falling apart. The front desk staff was pleasant and doing their best to accommodate, but behind the scenes there seems to be a lot of issues- heating/air were problematic both in the conference rooms as well as the guest room. In the guest rooms there were stains on the carpet, peeling and water damaged walls, room phone didn't work to call the front desk. The bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and operational. It's okay for a night or two as a place to sleep, but I wouldn't want to spend any extra time here.This place needs a major overhaul.

I’m not sure what folks are expecting from a 3-star hotel in Central Illinois, but don’t expect much. Room was clean enough (everything could definitely use a face lift). What they say about the ice machines is true. There’s a microwave in the lobby if you want to heat up food. Beds are nice & comfy though!
