New Method Wellness saved my life. Came from Oregon to beautiful San Juan Capistrano, California. When I arrived (voluntarily) October 13th 2020 I was 50 lbs under weight, desperate and lost. All I knew was I needed help and wanted change. I was willing to do whatever I had to do to have a new life. I’ve been to treatment before and this place blew the others out of the water. From the staff, activities, groups, structured freedom, weekly grocery shopping, houses we stay in it’s all amazing. You will either take it seriously or not. Do you want a better life? That’s up to you, but they provided everything I needed to have the life I have today with 21 months clean and sober. I spent 3 months in residential & 2 months in Intensive Outpatient (IOP). They have all the resources you could need. They found me the most amazing sober living home where I lived for 6 1/2 months & made brothers and friends for life. Then for the first time in my life I signed a lease to a place I now call home. I thank my higher power and New Method Wellness. This is just a few of many things I’ve accomplished since I’ve been clean and sober. I can finally say I love myself and my life. And I know my mom would be proud. I’ll forever be grateful of NMW.

I have been sober for nearly ten years now, and I don’t attribute a single day of sobriety to New Method Wellness. New Method Wellness uses paid advertisement spots on various websites and appearances on television shows to prop up their facade of credibility. I know multiple people who passed away from drug addiction after attending New Method Wellness. If you are a parent who is hoping to save your child’s life, buyer beware: rehab is not the answer. AA, NA and other programs that rely upon accountability, service work and fellowship have a nearly identical success rate to facilities like New Method Wellness, and they don’t cost $30,000 to attend. As a matter of fact, they don’t cost anything at all. Companies like New Method Wellness sell you on the idea of living in a mansion by the beach is somehow correlated to saving your life from drug addiction. This is inaccurate. Sidebar, when I attended New Method Wellness, my house had a mouse infestation that management refused to address. Also, on Saturday’s we got to play with horses and on Tuesday’s we drew pictures.

New Method Wellness was a life saving and wonderful experience! A complete and thorough dual diagnosis program with extra specialized, individualized attention paid to areas most needed for each client. The staff were all professionals who taught and counseled from positions of compassion and empathy. I would strongly recommend New Method Wellness to anyone struggling with substance / alcohol abuse as well as anyone suffering from depression, anxiety and/or trauma.
