Beautiful spot to walk the beach or just sit and enjoy the ocean. The afternoon we were there we had it all to ourselves. Vault toilets, BBQ pit and several picnic tables are available.

We loved this beach! Creek, cliffs, sandy beach, rocky area to the south that is teeming with sea life at low tide! We saw anemones, star fish, urchins, snails, hermit crabs, mussels by the million in tide pools and rocks. Our favorite so far. And blackberries over by picnic table area.

If you need to stop for a quick moment to stretch you legs of have a picnic, I highly recommend this picnic area right off the road. It's far enough from the highway that you still feel the awe of nature. I was impressed by the immense fog, black sand, and stillness. I crossed the stream and played in the pacific ocean after eating some warmed up soup. On the way out I saw 4 little quails!

This is a beautiful public beach. Clean outdoor bathrooms. Nice picnic tables. A beautiful gem! We even got to see some quail coming out to feed.

The headlands shelter the beach from prevailing winds, creating temperatures warm enough to give the site its name. Got that from a website.
