One of my favorite parks. Easy walk from parking lot and picnic tables to the beach. Never crowded even in the summer. Great place to find agates.

Nice, easy walk to the beach. Port'Opotty, and small access to Garrison Lake (through some shrubbery). The park hosts are nice. This is a great place to come fish for surf perch, or watch the waves crash off the sloped beach.

Tseriadun State Park is a Port Orford jewel. Pebbled sand tucked between a frothy sea and Garrison Lake (hatchery placed rainbow trout in the spring). On a clear day, Cape Blanco flashes in the northern distance.

Sherry only camp grounds are safest places unless you go up Sixes or Elk River
Be careful of the water. It is notorious for sneaker waves. There is a deep shelf right at the breakers, with a strong undertow. There have been quite a few deaths there.
