They go above and beyond the call of duty. Excellent.

Don't try calling the main number. Recording says "we are experiencing higher than normal, please hang on", then hangs up. Called back eight times, same result.

With all the headlines concerning the disposition of mail-in ballots, my wife and I were concerned about where our ballots ended up. We called the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Office and asked that question to one of their employees. After answering a few identity verification questions, we found out that our mail-in ballots were received and accepted by the elections office. The entire phone call amounted to less than 5 minutes

I would call the office in the morning.
You can change your address online at votealachua.com. You'd also be able to find forms there if you prefer to mail your change of registration in or you can walk into the supervisor's office downtown. :)
Yes it has I'm going to refer you to the Alachua county voters website.
Florida is a closed Primary state which means that when there is a Primary election you will only be able to vote for candidates of your party affiliation. For example during a primary election when you receive your ballot it will only have candidates of your party on it. And if you are No Party Affiliation and there is no one running in the primary of that party affiliation, then you won't be able to vote during the Primary elections. However, during the General Elections you will be able to vote for any candidate regardless of their party affiliation.
Contact the Supervisor of Elections office at (352)374-5252. They can assist you in changing your party affiliation.
Because he's your spouse, yes, you could've used the same sample ballot. However, legally, you aren't supposed to look over at another voter's ballot. For all you know you're husband could've voted differently than you. It's just individuality principles. They were just being strict.
Just call 374-5252 or go to our website- www.votealachua.com
Hi Patricia- I'm currently out of the office - it's rare for me to be out during this time but it's my wife's 40th high school reunion, so it's a special circumstance - I think I can address your issue. We utilize a secure vendor to mail out the ballots for our 22,000 vote-by-mail requests. We send a database of voters to them ahead of time- about 3 weeks ahead of time - it may be that the change was entered after we uploaded the list to the vendor. Normally I would have already sent you a letter stating that I was aware of your issues and a new ballot was on the way. I assure you when I get back that your issue and those like you will be the first I handle. Thanks for your interest in voting!
