Moving my mom into an assisted living community was one of the hardest, emotional decisions that I've made as a caregiver. Even after I dropped her off, I was on pins and needles until I called to hear how her first day went. By the time I called, my mom had already made friends, signed up for a field trip, and participated in the social activities for the day! My heart was elated and tears of joy filled my eyes. Nothing makes me happier than my mom feeling safe and content. She's has been the most loving and supportive mom all our lives and I delight in the fact that I found a place that reminds her how much her kids love her!!

Bradfield is an awesome place to work. Everyone is passionate about what they do and love the residents as if they were their own family. It makes coming to work every day easy.

I saw that someone had posted that they dont recommend this place to anyone. Said that the activities basically dont happen. The food being bad.. To me, it sounds like someone is not looking at the whole picture. The activities are based on participation from more than one resident. Although when there is enough residents to participate, they do have fun. We see the activities staff working their tails off with taking residents bowling, to Walmart, and sometimes they will take ones who wish to go, to a restaurant for lunch. The food, well... I cant say its the best or worse, I have had one meal while there visiting my dad, and I was actually impressed. I was expect school room cafeteria taste. It was not that at all. My dad is a very hard person to deal with, and can be very mean at times. The Bradfield staff is the only staff who has been able to tame him down and make him realize that he does not intimidate them. We are called by the director and director of nurses on a regular basis to let us know what he has done. I have always appreciated them calling and giving us a heads up as to what he is doing and if he is in trouble or not. Bradfield has been wonderful for us with how they take care of my dad. YES. I would recommend Bradfield House to most anyone

A change in management did not bring a change for the better. The food is usually bad, much of the time it is NOT what the menu states. The activities listed on the "activity sheet" are mostly non existent. Well, other than TV in the front room. We feel like we have been lied to, taken advantage of, and mgmt doesn't care in the slightest. On occasion, there will be a staff member that cares about how they treat these older folks. I recommend you avoid this place, and don't believe the lies and fluff they try to sell you.
