Do not fly this airline. Save up to pay additional and take the extra layover with another airline. They changed my seats without knowledge after I reserved them, lost my luggage, and was rude when I tried to recover my luggage by following their processing claim protocols. The only real MVP was Jimmy from LAX who gave me my lost luggage. Thank you Jimmy!

Totally agree with other poster about flying to Chile. Exactly what they said so well..there are MANY restrictions for entry and conflicting info depending on which website and who you talk to. I booked a direct flight to Santiago from LAX ...then they changed it to a change of plane in Peru..the country with the highest mortality rate of covid deaths in the world. When the pandemic started I was in Peru..and they would not allow TOURISTS to leave; stuck in that country for 5 months until I paid for a private charter to get out. Since Latam changed my flight I cancelled it..do not go to Peru or believe any advertising. Latam does say they will refund your money if they cancel..however, you have to "submit" the request and it will most likely be months, and many attempts, to get money back. Be very careful going to Chile on Latam. Once on board the plane the experience is great..but their website crashes, you have to re-enter info 5 times, payments fail, and sometimes..it will switch from English to Portuguese for no known reason. At LAX check your boarding pass for "TSA-Precheck". They were too cheap to participate in the program so even if you have global entry/TSA pre check, you will not be allowed in that line even if you have your card with you!
