When I visited a Friday evening, I felt that the staff who helped me was impatient and didn’t understand my adjustment request. However, the manager has kindly reached out to me to understand the feedback and helped resolved the issue. I think that’s what matters and hence a 5 star.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people who work here. Went twice and both times I had a great experience. First the lady who helped me was very patient with an insurance issue and was really helpful. Next time the guy who helped me was really knowledgeable and even told me about a procedure that could help my eyes long term.

I’d like to take the time to share my experience with Costco optical. I experienced an issue with terms that have not been clearly specified to me when I ordered replacement for my lenses. After a couple days, they called me to let me know that they were not able to replace my lenses as the brand of my glasses was not covered by their repair center. So I had to come back and pick up my glasses but at that point, they had scrapped the lenses so I was very unhappy and I asked for a manager. Tom, the manager came to see me and listen to my issue and made the necessary arrangements for me to be satisfied after the disagreement I had with the experience. He took care of my issue quick and nicely. That’s an example of 5 stars customer service. Linda

If you see what time it is and what number I pulled, you’ll see I was 3 away and antsy to get out of Costco. So, I started timing it and only had to wait 7-8 mins to get help. The lady was very kind and helpful and it was definitely 5 star service. I should have tried the sunglasses on before I left, but because of Costco policy, I can return it as long as they’re not scratched. I barely touched them and they unfortunately were too small for my big head. Lol Great service tho.

Yes you can. You can call their phone to set an appointment, or you can send a text message via number given during voice message system(if no one is able to answer at the moment). You will be contacted once someone is available and they'll help set you up with an appointment. They're very fast at responding.
Unfortunately, we do not work with medicare or Medi-cal.
The optical department does not close. So you can pick up your glasses anytime between 9:00 am and 8:30 pm. However, Doctor Nishida's office is closed for lunch between 2:00pm and 3:00pm.

We do not offer an additional discount if you see our on-site doctor. However, We are the pricing authority when it comes to cost on our lenses. All our lenses come with Scratch, UV, Anti-reflective and High Index 1.60 at no additional cost. We also offer AR Blue light filter treatment at no cost as well. Stop by our optical department for pricing.
Hello John, Unfortunately, we do not offer sunglass tints in blue or yellow. The colors we do offer come in Gray, Green and Brown. All of our prescription sunglasses are polarized. Basic exam is $59.99. Glasses can vary depending on if you need Single Vision ($59.99) or Progressive ($129.99). The cost of the frames vary as well. Frames start at $49.99 to $169.99. however, we are running a special now where you get $40 off when you purchase an additional pair.

If you have a Valid Eyeglass Prescription you do not need an appointment. Just bring a copy of the Prescription to our department and we can help you select a frame that is suitable for your optical needs..
If your frames are in good shape we can replace the lenses in your own frames.
