The pharmacy itself is fine but the young man who works in the pharmacy is really lacking in people skills. He is borderline rude, rushes you when you speak and talks over you. He also acts like he is doing you a huge favor doing his job.

I waited until I was clearheaded to post this, but I’m at a loss other than warning others to avoid this pharmacy if possible. I had just been discharged by St. David’s and prescribed pain meds to tie me over until surgery the following day. Unfortunately by the time I was discharged and we got to this pharmacy, the previous dose of meds had worn off and I was in severe pain. It was 11pm with 2 people working and probably 4 of us there for prescriptions. Someone was kind enough to let my partner and me skip the line since I was visibly hurting and crying. The woman who works there (dark hair, older) was extremely rude in her tone saying we needed to wait our turn and others were ahead of us and it would be at least 25 minutes. People promptly got their prescriptions and eventually my partner escorted me to the car as I was wailing in pain and had become nauseous. It did not seem like it was that busy, but maybe I was wrong. However there were only a few of us and like I said those who went in line after were quickly given their prescriptions. We ended up going through the drive through where we got the meds and she was smiling and slowly going through questions while I sat there answering as quickly as possible and crying. I’m not sure if she thought I was an addict and thought to make me suffer, but it was the worst service for 10 pills in one bottle and a blister pack shoved in another. Beware of this cruel pharmacist whoever she is.

So great to have a 24 hour drive through pharmacy when you are sick!!! Thank you Walgreens! 6200 W William Cannon, Austin, TX. Staff have always been pleasant even though they are busy and frequently multi-tasking (they have 2 drive through lanes!)

I recognize that pharmacists are going through a lot right now, and so I have hesitated giving any sort of review for a while. I typically go out of my way to make sure I am doing my part, so not only did I check electronically if my prescription was ready before I drove up here (under time restraints) I made sure to call again and speak to someone in person verifying if my prescription would be ready by the time I got there. When I pulled up, not only was I met with serious exasperation and coldness, I was informed (rudely) that they only just saw the prescription and it was going to take some time to fill. I am not one to leave reviews often, but this was a circumstance that I felt it was necessary and I hope something useful can come of it.
