Turf was great, pretty hot doing the day, field is a little close to each other be careful all the baseball flying out of there

No shade or bleachers so come prepared. Director overturned a close call made by his ump after an opposing coach complained about it. First this same coach had already argued two calls early in the game and then at some point threw his phone towards 3rd base Almont hitting one of our kids. Instead of supporting the only ump they provided he took the word of the complainer coach! I believe the entire situation was handled incorrectly and makes me not want to play here again. .

Fields were nice turf. The stone walls in the outfield and behind the plate look nice, but make for some crazy ricocheted balls. An outfielder diving at the fence will have a problem if he hits it. Bathrooms were fine even with the large amount of people. The parking lot is not paved but relatively smooth. Some of the edge sections of the lot are pretty rough. If you have a car stay away from those and you will be fine. Field nets need to be higher to help contain foul balls. There is no shade structure or bleachers. So if you come plan accordingly. Trash cans were over flowing most of the time. Most fields only had one umpire which is unacceptable for select ball. I only saw 1 or 2 fields with 2 umpires throughout the weekend. You are not allowed to bring coolers, but the concession stand was well-stocked. If you don't want to pay the concession stand prices you will have to go back to the car to eat. One option they could consider would be to pay a higher entry fee to bring in a cooler versus the normal rate. They also gave a military and a senior discount which I thought was nice. It appears they are continuing to make improvements, so this ballpark will probably get better as time goes on.

It does not appear to be ADA compliant. I did not see any handicap parking. If a family member was in a wheelchair or required a walker, getting into and getting around F.O.D. would be a big challenge. Once there, it is dangerous. Balls flying from one field into another. Balls flying into the spectators too. No warning tracks! The 'fence' in the outfield is limestone slabs with fencing on top. I cringe every time an outfielder goes for a long fly ball worrying they may stumble and land head first into a 2 ton hunk of limestone. By FAR, my least favorite ballpark to see my son play. I absolutely dread seeing "field of dreams" as the event park whenever we play. If I had my way, we would never play there again.

Are coolers allowed in the complex?

At our last experience, no coolers or outside waters were allowed in. I would have your coaches ask if they can bring in a team cooler (although last time we were told no), as no water was provided for the team in the dugout. Good luck.
