Dr. Rachana Vyas is the best dentist I’ve seen in the Bay Area. I know that my teeth are taken care of whenever I come into the office. Beyond her great service, Dr. Vyas always has great stories and conversations. If you are looking for a dentist I cannot recommend Dr. Vyas enough!

Dr Vyas and her assistant are very nice and care a lot for their patients. They provide the highest level of care. Both me and my wife have had fillings done here and have had our dental health improve greatly thanks to their care and advice. We have been seeing Dr Vyas for two years now Also, they are extremely efficient at scheduling. We have never had to wait in the office! I would highly recommend Dr Vyas and her staff.

Dr. Vyas is excellent both with the dental work and patient care. I had 8 fillings done here and being my first experience with this I can say I couldn't have been more comfortable. Definitely definitely would recommend her! Thankyou Dr. Vyas!

I'm insured under Delta Dental and found Hills Dental via the website. Their service is the most amazing! Dr Vyas did fillings and deep cleaning for me today and it was painless. Everyone at the clinic is enthusiastic about answering your questions, and for me that was really helpful to know how the procedures are going to feel like. Would recommend Hills Dental to everyone I know! :)

Thank you Julia, you summarized the Implant question nicely, just perfect
Dental problems can seriously endanger health, cost a lot of money to be treated and result in a big loss of work and school time. A common problem like a toothache is not just painful for the patient, it disrupts the whole family. The right course of action is to find a family dentist near you and have the family given a dental checkup. Any incipient problems can be caught and treated before they become worse. After that, the dentist will tell you how often you need to come back for checkups.
There's no need to worry about dental fluoride treatments - they're perfectly safe! In fact, they can actually help improve your oral health by preventing cavities and keeping your teeth looking their best. So go ahead and book that appointment - your smile will thank you for it!
If you have a toothache, you should see a dentist ASAP. There is nothing to be gained by delaying treatment except more pain and discomfort. If you have a dentist that offers emergency dental services, you will be able to get treatment with the minimum delay. If there is a delay in getting treatment, you can try some home remedies like applying clove oil on the painful area. If the pain is persistent, it is best to consult with a laser dentist. We, Hills Dental group, are a dentistry clinic in San Jose and we treat all types of dental problems. Give us a call for any doubts or appointments.
If tooth decay spreads, it can eventually cause an infection in the pulp of your tooth. The pulp is the soft tissue inside your tooth that contains blood vessels and nerve endings. An infection in the pulp can cause a lot of pain and may require a root canal treatment or extraction to fix. If you have tooth decay that has spread to the pulp, you may need a root canal treatment. This is a procedure where we remove the infected pulp from your tooth and then clean and seal the empty space. If we don't treat an infection in the pulp, it can spread to other tissues in your body and cause serious problems.
The best way to stop tooth decay from spreading is to stop the acid erosion that is causing it in the first place. This can be done by eating a healthy diet with plenty of vegetables and fruits, drinking water instead of sugary drinks, and using a good quality toothpaste and mouthwash. If you are already experiencing tooth decay, it's important to see a dentist for treatment as soon as possible. A dentist can treat the decay with a filling or a crown, and may also suggest using dental sealants or fluoride treatments to help protect your teeth in the future.
A dental check-up usually consists of a consultation with the dentist to discuss any dental problems and treatment options, followed by a full examination of the teeth, gums and jaw. X-rays may also be taken. If you have a regular dental check-up, any problems that are detected can be treated at an early stage, before they have time to cause further damage. It's also important to have regular dental checks if you're taking medication that can increase your risk of developing gum disease.
Dental treatment is the most common way to stop a cavity from growing. This may involve a filling, a crown, or root canal therapy. If the cavity is left untreated, it will continue to grow and could eventually lead to tooth loss.
It depends on what you're looking for. Laser dental cleaning is a more advanced and thorough form of dental cleaning than traditional brushing and flossing. It's been shown to be more effective at removing plaque and tartar from teeth, and it's also been shown to be less traumatic to the gums. So if you're looking for a more thorough dental cleaning, laser dental cleaning may be worth it for you.
Laser cleaning of the teeth is definitely worth it. A laser will clean out plaque, accumulated grime and other substances from the teeth far more effectively than other methods. It is also much quicker and painless than other methods. If you are interested to know more about laser dentistry and teeth cleaning, contact us at +1 408-725-1536
There is no definite answer to this. Fillings are made from different types of materials so the type of material used will determine how long the filling will last. A person’s diet, eating habits, the oral hygiene standards that are maintained, and other health issues will all affect the life of a filing. That being said, a filling may be expected to last up to 10 years or more. Regular dental checkups will spot any incipient problems with fillings so corrective action can be taken before the need to replace them arises. A dentist will be able to give you a more detailed answer based on her examination and diagnosis of your dental needs.
