2 weeks after moving into a “partial renovation” unit, my garbage disposal stops working. I put in a request and come to find out they are on “backorder” and no time limit was given. So if u don’t mind not having a sink to clean dirty dishes and not given a time frame on when the problem will be fixed, it’s a great complex. UPDATE… (Briana, forgive me if I pronounced it wrong) was able to get the issue resolved for me. Thank you.

The price for a 1 bedroom apartment is reasonable but their management is so chaotic, once bare creek took over them I had several issues with their online system and the way they manage their pesticides. At one point my apartment was infested with roaches and couldn’t get the pest control when I needed them , they were only available Thursday and the problem was never resolved by them I ended up having to take care of the matter .One of the front office lady gets rude when you contact her about the apartment issues . It also takes several days to get a simple maintenance request to get taken care of . And the insulation on the 2nd floor is terrible to top it off I had several issues with the ac it does not cool the apartment at all during this Texas summer . My ac even went out and my apartment was over 80 degrees inside .I definitely did not renew my lease with them don’t not recommend Castlewinds they don’t even deserve a single start .

Stephanie, in the front office, is curt and professional. Arbor, in the front office, is personable, professional, and greets you with a warm smile. The maintenance is phenomenal. Issues are taken care of within 24 hours and if not they will keep you informed. I had one incident where someone riffled thru my car overnight because it was left unlocked. The exercise room leaves a lot to be desired because the room isn't air conditioned and the equipment doesn't work. The front entrance parking lot accumulates water when it rains. The complex is a pet friendly especially for dogs. You can barely walk 5 feet before coming across dog feces on the lawn. It was disappointing when my grandsons came over because we couldn't play in the grassy area. The pool was cleaned on a regular basis and was available the majority of the extended summer. We lived here for 5 years but decided to move because my husband wanted an open concept for entertaining. The cabinets and appliances were dated because we lived in one of the older models. I enjoyed the convenience of being close to the highway, restaurants, grocery stores, and mall. The complex was quiet and the neighbors were cordial. Definitely get to know the school hours because the complex is between 2 schools so entering and exiting the complex between school zone hours can be time consuming.

Hello Susie, We are not 2nd chance apartments. If you have a rental debt that is under 3 years old it would have to be paid off before applying. If you have an eviction it would need to be over 5 years old and we only accept 1. In addition we require 12 months of current positive rental history. If you have any more questions please call us. 817-498-7648. Thank you, Stephanie Hamm Community Manager

Are these second chance

If you decide to rent a bottom floor unit and do not mind hearing a lot of noise from the top floor unit then it's an alright place. But, their price range per month has gone crazy and not worth the price. I should know I lived there for 4 years. I asked for a top floor unit and they gave me a monthly price of 955 per month. Definitely, not worth it. The amount per month given is like almost paying for a real home. Therefore, i had to leave.
