Had oil pressure and water temperature gauge reading issues during a sea trial. Called Carl and Rodrigo to diagnose the problems, test the diesel engine and install replacement sending unit and grounds. They worked me into their busy schedule to take care of my engine problems. Very professional and recommend them highly.

Excellent communicators and superb mechanics. There is no better. How fortunate the boaters in Marina del Rey are to have this resource.

Excellent, honest Work/Need some help in Communication I have to say that if you need quality, expert Mechanical service then C&C Marine is the place to go. Carl, the owner is very busy. C&C works on an average of 30 boats a day and approx. 130 per week. They have 4 phone lines going full time so the downside is that the volume of work outpaces the ability of C&C office personnel to coordinate with boat owners on a regular basis. You will have to have patience and wait for them to call you or send that receipt (which they will eventually) or issue that quote. I absolutely trust the work that Carl and his amazing mechanics do, I just have to allow them to get me the info on that work at their own speed. CASE AND POINT: I had another Mechanic quote me over $2500 to remove and replace my starter on my 454 Mercruiser because he said the bolts were too rusted so I would have to dry dock the boat and remove the engine first. Carl's Mechanic quoted me way less and removed it without dry docking/removing my engine. My only stress was trying to figure out which day they were going to do it, as they did not tell me until it was done. In the end, all turned out well and C & C is the only Boat Shop I will use. If you have a problem, Carl will steer you in the right direction. They are not cheap, but in the Marine Mechanic world, you get what you pay for.

Our water heater went out a week before Christmas. Nothing was in stock on the west coast. Carl and the guys found a way to get one air shipped to Marina Del Rey and got it installed for us just before Christmas. It went great because Nicholas the installer was prepared and had all the parts ready for the other things that break or need replacing when doing this kind of job. Hose clamps, hoses, fittings, pressure relief valves, etc. A very good experience. Thank you
