We send all of our couples to this courthouse because the recorders and clerks are so kind to everyone. They are fast & efficient, and also very non-judgmental in difficult cases. Best courthouse in Kansas by far!

Go to court house, get through security, and you'll go left and then left again. These instructions will make sense when you get there. From there you will fill out a paper for the clerk, the clerk will then give you another one to fill out and return it 3 business days later. When you go to return it, you will have ~$85 fee to pay for. Before you leave the second time they will hand you everything you need to finish the process. Congratulations!

You can go in to KDHE Office of Vital Statistics in Topeka and get it the same day. Or you can mail in a form and get it with in 2 weeks
The ladies there, you can call and ask any question you may have. I asked a whole bunch and they knew it all. I dont want to give you an answer and not be sure. 913-715-3428
