On the outside, this place looks really great. We were given the choice of outside, inside, or first available. We should have said outside. The inside smelled like a dungeon that has been collecting dust for 200 years. The food was good, but we could not get past the vibe. I get that they are going for a historic look, but we seriously felt like we were having dinner in my grandma's basement. If the inside was better then it would have been a good restaurant.

I would only get the beer again. The flight was good and a great price. The food was subpar, mediocre “bar food.” We got the shepherd’s pie (was cold with canned green beans and not great flavor), fish and chips (husband said he’d prefer Long John silver’s 😳) and the kid got a grilled cheese. The only reason we ate it was because we were hungry. My 6 year old took three bites of the grilled cheese and didn’t want it. I don’t really know how you can ruin a grilled cheese but apparently they can. So he ate the fish and chips my husband didn’t want lol. People’s reviews surprisingly seem to rave about the food but that was not our experience and for $38 I’d like to enjoy dinner.

This Irish-inspired restaurant is a cozy experience sitting on top of one of my favorite bars. You'll be seated at an old wooden table with oil lamps and a bit of light coming from the windows (when the weather is cold, you'll want to bring a jacket). The food, reasonably priced, is tasty and filling. My favorite part of dining here is the chocolate pecan pie that is served warm.
