Excellent!!! Oddly enough, this place wasn't packed. It was about 85 degrees out today, partly cloudy, and the perfect weather for a hot springs. We saw probably 10 other people here. The grounds seem well enough maintained. The hike down is fairly short, maybe 1/4 mile total. The hike is very short and can be done in just sneakers.

Hot damn this place is awesome! We went on a weekend and I expected this place to be packed. There was plenty of space and quite a few springs! Parking was free and there was plenty of space. If you are looking for a good hot spring in this area (there's several) Kirkham hot springs is definitely one to check out!

Absolutely amazing. A true "whatever you want" hot spring experience. Want a very hot spring? There is a pool for that. Want a very cool spring? There is a pool for that. Want one that's just right? There is a pool for that. And if you want to freeze, the river is right there. There is even a few places where you can sit under a small waterfall. My biggest recommendation is to have a pair of shoes or sandals that fit well. The rocks can really cut up your feet if you aren't careful. Day pass is $5 but they apparently also accept the America the Beautiful pass. Granted, no one was there to ask but that's how I interpreted the sign that was talking about the day use fee.

Such an amazing hot spring! Small natural pools on the side of a river, each a slightly different temperature. My only concern is that it’s a little hazardous to cross into the pools because the rocks across them are slippery and decently hard to walk over. Not an issue unless you’re trying to treat your Grandma to a day out. If that’s the case, maybe try a different place. Otherwise, it’s awesome!

Yes although I don't quite remember the times but I think it is open for day use only 7:00a.m.- 9:00 p.m.
Yes
Was a little more busy than expected but its open just make sure you bring some safe shoes lots of icy snow on the way to the springs
Yes they are open, we were there two days ago :)
In the campground yes. The hot water is bad for the dogs I have seen dogs paws burnt. Also shouldn't let them use the bathroom near the water. It is against FOREST service rules to have your dogs in the Hot springs. Glass is also not allowed. Please pack it in and pack it out!
