This place is closed and "For Sale" For sale sign is knocked down but there was no one here and boarded up until ? ? Nice ride from Weiser to here though. This is site 23 for the 2022 running of the Pacific NorthWest Grand Tour PNWGT. Location is great, wish I had the means to but it and just live in it or . . . Reply owners reply . . . The place is attractive, and peacefull. Was not rating service or amenities, just the physical setting. The review was to let others know it was closed and you have to select a star or stars to do that. Thanks for informing me that it is open, definitely worth another stop.

We stayed here last summer and reall enjoyed our stay. Wish I could say it was the same this trip. The cabin was great though and super clean. However, the customer service was highly lacking. Seemed to be more of an inconvenience when walking into the restaurant than anything. Gal waiting on us was outside smoking and the first thing she told us was the espresso machine quit working. Food Menu was explained as to everything we couldn’t order. Patio is closed and very limited menu. Which I do understand during these times, but was never told this prior to arriving. And the way they did explain it, was a turnoff to say the least. We even emailed the owner and never got a response. Just wasn’t a great environment to relax and enjoy our stay!

Mountain Beaches

We love this little GEM. You might see some bad reviews (3 recent ones all from the same people. Not sure why they felt the need to give 3 bad reviews), but we found the owner and employees to be some of the best ever. Right now they are very short handed so just realize that going in. They are hiring if anyone is looking for a job at an amazing place. Our food was delicious and cooked exactly as we ordered. The NY Cheesecake was to die for. The scenery is some of the best anywhere. They also have cabins and an inn so if you want to stay the night do it. Just be aware that as of this review (June 2021) they are only serving meals on Fri, Sat and Sun because they are short staffed.

Nice clean spacious rooms, reasonably priced. Was snowy and they were on top of the plowing. Cute little coffee shop, too. Main downside was the food. I ordered the Malibu chicken and it was very rubbery and chewy. Wish I could have tried the breakfast but they weren't serving it the next day. Still worth a stop. Nice people running the place.
