This has been one of my favorite restaurant to go with my family since I was a child! I just found this location and was so thrilled because where I live they closed the restaurant there locally. I had such an excellent breakfast, the waitress provided great service, the girl at the front was very enthusiast as she took me to the seating area. The Spanish architecture of the restaurant is certainly a great aesthetic related to the cultural background of Mexican & Spanish gastronomy. I love the design on their plates and all the vibrant colors of this restaurant, definitely will be making the drive! Not to mention the flavor in the food is very delicious. Their waffle batter is distinct compared to other places selling waffles. I enjoyed this breakfast experience very much & will be returning, definitely made my Saturday a lot better when I thought the nearest one to me was San Diego. So grateful they are still in business! Perfection in my opinion. 😊

We tried the Sunday Brunch at El Torito in Woodland Hills. While they do offer a variety of dishes, it was not as great as I expected, especially for the price ($31 adult, $12 kids) They seemed unsure whether kids is 12 years and below, or 11 years old and below. They appeared to go by how big your 12 year old is whether to charge adult or kids price. Anyway, their a la carte entrées always had great flavor. Perhaps the food being out too long at the buffet stations diminished the quality of the food a bit. It's not bad, just doesn't seem to justify paying $31 for. I've had better machaca at school fiestas, tastier chile colorados at work, and more delicious ceviches at hole in the wall places, and not as expensive. One thing that was really good was the caramelized bananas mixed with vanilla ice cream. I don't eat ice cream much but this was a welcome surprise. Service was good, as buffet servers were helpful and attentive. They had plastic dividers at their buffet stations, and servers handle your food all throughout. Our waitress even brought us churro pancakes we didn't ask for. Might be better to go earlier when the food is fresh out of the kitchen, you just have to deal with a busier buffet. They also have a bar so it's a good place to watch sports and have drinks.

The happy hour is amazing 3-9pm. The salmon tacos are a hit!!! And the margaritas! Mango and pineapple coconut are the best ones!

Yes, the food was really good. However, they seemed oblivious to the social distance guidelines for patrons.
Yes. Occasionally they do have live music
There's a lunch buffet everyday I believe (at least every weekday). There may also be a brunch buffet on the weekends.
