The saints that work at Veterans Community Project are Hall of Fame level good people. I was in need during a dark period and their light shined through to help me. God bless everyone who is a part of this wonderful organization 🙏 ❤️

Beautiful and needed facility. The CEO, Bryan is doing a great job. I will return.

This was a great place to volunteer as at team. Several of the RE/MAX Heritage Realtors in my office worked together to learn about and help build tiny homes for veterans. This was a wonderful project and the staff are very fun to work with when you go. Highly recommend anyone to learn more about this great organization. They're always looking for volunteers and donations if you can help.

Very helpful even though they were celebrating Tiny houses for veterans they still took care of my problem. Supporting our veterans.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
It sure can.
Please send him to them. They are and excellent organization. 8900 Troost, Kansas city, Missouri
Yes
Vets help Vets, non-profit organization with the US Government, donations, fundraising, grants, etc.
Hi Preston! Our commitment is to help any Veteran who took the oath, no matter how long they served, their discharge status, or any other traditional qualifier. Please give us a call at (816) 599-6503 to speak with a case manager about your options.
Surely any disadvantaged veteran can use a fleece blanket this season. And your reward will be instantaneous. Thanks.
I'm sure they'll share happily
Any plans for TAMPA Bay in 5he FUTURE
Check out their website they have already expanded to other cities. https://www.veteranscommunityproject.org/
Go to your local VA Hospital find out where universal housing is and or substance abuse treatment is at they will give you information on how to get a hud-vash voucher and then you only have to pay one third of your gross income plus utilities and you have your own apartment but that's how you get started the easiest way checking for substance abuse treatment other than that you're going to have to prove your homeless and do that just by getting a letter of residency runs a homeless shelter there did you go to every once in awhile if you got that you can get by being homeless but like I said go to substance abuse program it's easier. I've got one I'm a veteran of the 80s
I would suggest just calling them directly .
Hi Kathi! Our commitment is to help any Veteran who took the oath, no matter how long they served, their discharge status, or any other traditional qualifier. Please have your friend give us a call at (816) 599-6503 to speak with a case manager about options for her son.
Hi William! Please give our Veterans Outreach Center a call at 816-599-6503 and a case manager would you happy to speak with you!
I found out that if you have donations (clothing; shoes) you want to be picked up, the vets do not benefit from them in any way. Everything goes to Thrift Stores and the proceeds go to a man in New Jersey who happens to own several chains of Thrift Stores. He has become a very wealthy man as a result. If you want the vets themselves to benefit I would suggest actually dropping your donations off at your local homeless shelters. Our donations are going directly to the Veterans Community Project at 89th and Troost in Kansas City, MO.
Thank You Earlene. If you would like to make special gift bags for Valentines Day that would be AWSOME. Stop by the office for a chat.
I would call and ask them and email them and give you an idea what they need
The Mayor or another such community leader would need to contact them. Historically all land & infrastructure is given by the City. ( roads , sewers, water & gas lines, etc.) Also important is easy access for veteran care (ie: VA Health Administration with a Med Center not far away being preferred.)

I am looking for a place to rent. I prefer Missouri.
It doesn't work that way. Do you have to keep trying to come there and be there to get a tiny house when the funding is available. It doesn't go by what state you live in.
The goal of this program is to help veterans from hitting the point of homelessness. Please reach out to them as soon as you can
Yes! Give them a call and they can help!!
No. At the present time, a lot of cities are lookjng at VCP. There are a couple cities that have housing availible for vets. This is the only place in the U S that has anythinv like VCP.
Report lost wallet to police. Get report # to verify & go to Veterans Community Project for replacement
I am a veteran who lives here at VCP from what I've been putting together it all depends on the demand wich of course for us is high but the area the city is willing to allocate and the money necessary for the project there a lot involved in just planning a community project but if you'd like to call the vcp hq number I'm sure they can help better answer your question thank you for both your service as well.
Please call our office or email us at [email protected].
Not from this organization, just KC & Tennessee
That would be a question to ask them directly thru phone. I know they are currently expanding to Tennessee. Anyone who would like can donate toward a tiny home. Depending on available labor & materials I think they cost about $20k each
You should direct that question to an ombudsman at the V.A. Medical Center. There are many varying programs & services in California. Qualification is also required.
Its Spring Cleaning season. Watch garage sales, thrift stores, and Craigslist free. Leave any used furniture out in the sun for at least a day if you can. The heat will kill any bed bugs.God bless !
If I were you I would Google veterans community project in Kansas City Missouri and it'll give you the information on housing other than that go to your local VA Hospital and speak to the universal housing carrier and they can help set you up for a HUD/ VASH voucher
They help with a variety topics. I'll say this. If they were willing to pay $656.00 too get my car out of the tow lot. Then I would say it be worth a shot to ask.
Call the office tomorrow
Please call VCP and inquire as to their needs...

Check out... Community veterans project. It's in Kc Mo. It's a great idea & project.
I am a new resident. They are building 30 new homes. This place is ausume. You should come out and take a tour.
Call them or better yet go by and talk to them - 85th St & Troost
This is a privately funded non-profit. Contact the Veteran's Community Project at their Headquarters. Call them. Their goal is to have these villages in all major cities in the U.S. it is 100 percent community driven/supported. Well worth the efforts. And no better feeling in the world when you drive away after a day of volunteering !!!!
Julia, VCP helps Vets by donations given private citizens and corporations. Contact the office for specific details.
The VCP may have a solution for you but check with Journey for New Life on 31st Troost
When this project makes it to your city, yes. If you've served one day of service, this project will be able to provide assistance with connecting the vet to healthcare resources, job preparations, bus passes and a tiny home.
They are opening a veteran village in Saint Loius soon!!! If you served one day, raised your hand to pledge to serve, you are eligible for services!!!
