I've been coming here since 2018. The staff is the best. They always have snacks and food and I believe they pay decently for the experience. I see other places offering a few more dollars but I don't want to risk going somewhere where I won't be taken care of. Especially when people are stabbing me with needles and messing with my fluids. In summary. If you need about 200 bucks and have a free day out of your schedule. I say come down here and make a few dollars while relaxing on a bed chatting with staff.

HemaCare is the best donor center. Stuff is very nice and welcoming. Have a lot of cool things and events. If you are looking a place to donate blood and help people - HemaCare is a place to go.

First came in a few years back and I was a bit nervous because it was something I’d never done. Thankfully the staff and nurses were all so helpful and reassuring. Aside from the small pinch from the needle, that isn’t even felt at times, everything is always so great. I enjoy seeing Jessica at the front desk who always greets me when I walk in and the rest of the staff is always so welcoming. It’s like coming home to another family. Thank you all who do a good job keeping us safe and comfortable.

It’s my first time donating blood, ever. So far the staff have been nice and friendly. I have an issue with the initial process of putting a hypodermic in my vein, but once it’s in place the feeling of punching someone goes away. They were attuned to my discomfort and no one got punched. That’s a good thing, it means they were good. I like that they hold nothing back in regards to any information regarding their procedures and are open to any questions at any time. I’m still waiting for screening, but so far so good. Will edit post later when it’s all been done. Everything’s going well as can be, I think this is a good place.

100 for whole blood 200 for white blood cells 300 for bone marrow
Yes, you can donate whole blood, plasma, white cells and bone marrow.
As soon as you are done donating you go to the reception desk and give them a slip and you get your check same day
Hi there. It's a process. You need an ID, the company has a survey that you filled out and based on your answers and your interest that will decide if you can become a donor. You can check their website or call. Everybody at HemaCare is very polite, friendly and respectful I'm sure they can answer all your questions. Thank you
no plasma donation only whole blood and white blood cells i cant give you the exact numbers coz im not allowed too but its close to this $100 for whole blood once every 8weeks and $200 for white blood cells once every 5 weeks. if you have any question its best to call hemacare.
They got to test ur blood first they contact u around 2 weeks later thn u can donate
Plasmas
I believe it's 1200 but you have to pass their physical
I don't think so
You can donate whole blood or you can donate white blood cells and they also do bone marrow call them it varies on the individual
No. You need to schedule an appointment for a physical.
I think between $100 and $200.
Well first you need to pass a over the phone screening. Then after you pass the screening you just bring any form of ID. Be it a passport, State, Government issued ID. Also if you are a new donor the wait time is about 4hrs
it depends on what you going to donate. whole blood once every 8weeks. white blood cells once ever 5 weeks. bone marrow once every 3 months.
Best to go for the prescreening early in the morning (no compensation for this). Once your results comeback they will schedule you a time to come in for your first donation. All donation visits are scheduled.
