Awesome mountain biking trail system. Like other reviews mentioned there is something for every skill level. Lots of great scenery and signs to guide you along the way. Parking, bathrooms, picnic areas, grills and a swim beach. Dog friendly too! Very impressive!

Some really great riding in Minnesota. Some of the trails were closed when we were there so we are looking forward to a return trip in June. Very easy climbing and good fast flowy runs. Just don’t wear anything that you worried about as the shred the red comment holds true. Well worth the trip

These trails are amazing and they are adding more soon! Can't say enough good things about this place. Red Rider was a nice place to stay at as well. Beaufort scenery, excellent experience. Locals are all very nice too

A must for any mountain biker in Minnesota! Trails are dry within 2 hours of rain and there is more variety in terrain here than anywhere else in MN! Local camping, canoeing, kayaking, a brewery, bike shops, coffee shops, are all supported by the trail system. Go and check it out! Spend a few days, or a week.

Its a State Recreation Area. So, yes you can use your State Park Pass.
I'd say no. I tried it. Trail is too loose when it's dry and not a lot of fun on a gravel grinder. The knobs my MTB tires bite into it, but my gravel grinder had no traction.
You can rent bikes from Red Raven, also cycle path and paddle, both are in Crosby about 2 blocks from each other.
