Amazing and attentive staff. Great product selection as well! The dog that is always there and you get to pet is an awesome plus!

Great place with pretty much everything in stock you need to brew. Plus the dog that greets you is awesome, more stores need a puppy dog to welcome guests!

Stopped in today to get a recipe they had put together on their website. I'm used to ingredient kits (especially extract ones) to be pre-packaged. Altitude instead puts them together from their stock. It was a cool experience helping Dan this morning weighing and milling the grains for my kit. If you ever wanted to slightly tweak the ingredients in your recipe to your liking this would be a great place to do so as they have grains from all over the world and locally too. They had everything I needed and had a bunch of great advice as well! They also have a good rewards program from the sounds of it and host a homebrew club and other events!

Ordered beer yeast a week ago with one day shipping. Still hasn’t shipped. The shipping label was created only when I asked for them to cancel my order. Whenever I call they tell me they ‘promise’ it will ship that day - but it doesn’t. I would never recommend this business to anyone. I’m sure I’ll get dead yeast from them someday …. Maybe. It’s even cooler that I can’t brew this weekend either. Edit: About the reconciling of the previous review: I'm glad you've reached out to clear the air about my prior review, but you're misrepresenting the situation. I most certainly requested a cancellation of the order before a shipping label was created. At that time, I suggested cancelling the order due to an incoming cold front to my home town. I again requested cancellation over the phone. Both times stating that since the order hadn't shipped in nearly a week, the timing was going to be problematic due to forecasted weather. You said you "personally promised" the order would ship when we spoke on the phone and it still didn't ship that day. Ultimately, the order shipped 7 days after the order was placed and arrived 11 days after my order. While I appreciate the free yeast, the two White Labs yeast packets were frozen completely through and the Omega Yeast was manufactured in September and says to use within 4 months on the package. I'm happy to see you're so concerned about my not ordering any ice packs with the yeast, although that seems to be insignificant since the yeast showed up frozen and the weather was overnight lows of negative 20 and highs of negative 3 the day the order arrived - similar to what was forecasted to happen and what sparked my request to cancel in the first place.

Hi James: Neo1 hops are now available: Neo1 is a neomexicanus breed with a strong lemon-citrus character and fruity tropical notes. Native to Colorado and New Mexico, this dual-purpose hop absolutely explodes with growth when given maximum sun exposure. Neo1 is a sister to Amallia. Cheers.
