This place is pure awesome. Hot girls running around, sunning themselves, people go here to have fun. This is a really cool community gathering place. It feels like you're part of the community when you're here. So c'mon down.

Nice park, gorgeous lake. About 2.5 miles around the lake with nice running paths. Large open fields perfect for sports. As of July 15th 2022, there is construction near 17th street. Many lake front benches. There is a boat dock towards the north side. Be aware of lots of geese.

Most beautiful lake in denver. I had an amazing time living right in front of it Going for a walk along the lake brings such a peaceful and healing moment! Such a special place in denver, highly recommended.

I have never been to Sloans Lake till I was invited for Wine Wednesday. This park is so relaxing. There's a lot of people but not too many. The view is beautiful and it's located close to many bars and restaurants. My issue is the bathrooms are extremely disgusting that you no longer need to go to the bathroom and there is a lot of construction going on around the park. I'd sooner go to City, Washington, or even Cheeseman before I go to this one, but then again Denver takes pride in its parks.

Some things do need permits (they're sold/issued to prevent overcrowding at some public park spaces); I'm not certain whether this would apply in your circumstances, but they're generally based on the specifications (size) of the boat, etc. I suggest going to the official city/county website & looking into the details there-- it's always better to avoid a fine if you happen to encounter any enforcement.
No. I think over 20 or it might be 30 people
There have been signs posted about the presence of algae and other irritants in the lake near the boat docks on the north west side. Check there before allowing your dog into the lake.
I believe you can. .but call the Denver parks department. 311
