We enjoy this park SO MUCH! They offer several kids/adult education classes (most free!) To learn about the outdoors and the wildlife in the park. The visitor facility is always tidy and a great stop to check out for locals and travelers! The only "downfall" was one of the classes we joined in on was a new ranger from out of state was teaching about local vegetation and edible resources you can find in our forests. However- the reason I mention she was not local is I found most questions we had she either Googled or did not know. I don't know how their program training works but she may have felt more confident with training prior to leading the group. Otherwise all the classes we have attended have been wonderful !

Nice visitor center. Walking trials and over look that is handicap accessible. My husband saw a prairie rattle snake on the trail to the cliff so keep your eyes open.

Good place for a short walk with your dogs or just for the good views. Lots of really nice well taken care of pathways. Although some ice removal on some areas is definitely needed in winter. Last time I went (about a week ago) the ice was an inch or two thick in some spots along the main trails. But overall one of the best spots in Kalispell to go and get some sunshine.

The archery trail opens once the snow stops. This can change year to year, but normally they shoot for the beginning of April. If you have any questions you can reach the staff at 406-755-2706.
