I'm sorry you couldn't find the wine tasting at the award-winning winery in crestline, the local brewery, the high adventure activities at sky Park, the unlimited opportunity for hiking, the historic tunnel hike that has happened weekly for the two weeks prior to the campgrounds being closed, the shopping in the Lake Arrowhead village, the fishing in Lake Gregory or Big Bear, the mountain biking all around us, or any of the other fun stuff to do in the mountains. There's a really great site called Google. It might make your future camping outings more entertaining.
For members of Arrowhead Lake association, yes. It is private property for the association members though, so not open to the general public. If you are not a member, I recommend turning around to face immediately the other direction, East, and looking up the hillside where you will see the edge of a park. If you drive up to that park you will find a gazebo, children's Play area, and wonderful view out over the lake.
If you are an Arrowhead Lake association member and have your pet on a 6 ft leash while on the beach per ALA regulations, I'm not aware of any rules that prevents you from swimming with them.
