Quaint villiage, but don't miss the other villages about a mile apart, Agua Fia, Cedar Glen, Skyforest/skylark, Blue Jay, Crestforest, TwinPeaks, Lake Gregory/crestline and Running Springs. These are not replications of the 60-90s malls with the same fast foods, think 1920-50s iconic villages. Be aware Lake Arrowhead is a private lake, but arrowhead queen and McKinsey water ski school are ways to enjoy the lake. Bring sun screen.

Arrowhead lake Is private very hard to get on, and yes I would imagine California wants you to have a license
