Love this resort! Enjoyed 4 days here. The service is exceptional! Ruth at the frontdesk is Amazing. She went above & beyond & made sure my stay was pleasant. I have never received such great service from a front desk like Ruth! :) Deming the restaurant manager gives exceptional service, I was impressed with him. Heath, the sous chef came out to greet guests at the restaurant which was a treat. Chelsea at the coffee shop was a delight, always bubbly & cheerful! Aaron, the beverage & food manager was a delight to meet too. All the employees at this resort are pleasant, attentive & professional - A Great Example of Customer Service. I loved Everything about this resort: location is next to the lake offering beautiful & relaxing views, spacious, clean & comfy room, delicious food from the resort restaurant, stylish rustic chic decor, GREAT Service from EVERYONE, walking distance to the Alpine Village. I really enjoyed my stay & I'm looking forward to a return trip :) Thank you Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa!!

A very nice, though expensive, alternative to the UCLA Resort. The rooms are large & comfy but with two double (not queen) sized beds in ours. Certain aspects are not well maintained for a room costing over$300/night but the mattresses were good & firm. The shower is OK but with a limited shower head to only one flow rate. The restaurant is nice with excellent service & servers but with a limited selection.

I was here 9 years ago and to my memory, it was quite a nice hotel. No more. Stay away if you can help it. The place is completely run down, dark and decrepit. The receptionist is icy and unaccommodating. They say it's a dog-friendly hotel but they don't even have a water bowl for the dog. We asked her to please bring us one and she coldly replied we should ask the restaurant. They charge you 150 dollars extra for the dog in addition to 75 $ incidentals on top of the 270 $ a night but don't care to send in a bowl. The room is a motel 6 room with the view of the parking lot. Stay away. You will not get your money's worth.

Spent the long holiday weekend there and was impressed with our suite on the 3rd floor. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've had in a hotel ever. Didn't care for the paper thin walls and the random sounds (metal clanking, doorknocks, plumbing, etc..) heard throughout our stay but it wasn't bothersome to the point of requiring a complaint. A microwave in the bigger suites would be a great plus! Cleanliness was decent overall, however, my family and I still do a wipe cleaning before settling in.

Does this hotel offer free breakfast?

Antonio Arrona Jr | Sep 5, 2018
Kevin Caldiero | Sep 5, 2018

Only if you are a gold or platinum member and even then, only the continental breakfast unless you have AAA and obtain a hot deal that includes the full breakfast. Just be prepared to wait as this was the first experience with an autograph hotel and they were understaffed so even with plenty of Empty Tables we were required to wait 35 minutes to be served or seated 4 our buffet breakfast.
