Thank you so much to everyone at Access but especially Betty, Dr. Talent and Dr. Chavez for giving my baby the best care. They are so kind and when I had to bring my baby back for the final time Dr. Chavez was so caring, thoughtful and allowed us as much time as we needed with our baby. I can’t say enough good things about Access and their caring staff. I hope to never visit you guys again but for anyone that has a critical pet, look no further then Access. Thank you so much for the card and the sweet notes.

Access was once a very reputable veterinarian care facility. However, two years later, a vast decline in service, compassion, professionalism and expertise. I took my Maltese dog in March for emergency care and they made us wait 45 minutes in the car while my dog was gasping for air! The girl at the desk was very unfriendly like the rest who are employed ! Due to covid, we had to wait in the car and I called back again, to ask when is someone coming out. The answer was, "we do not have an emergency vet on duty right now." This is a 24 hour emergency care hospital and should be properly staffed to take emergencies in as I called early in the morning and they told me to just drive over. The emergency vet who finally saw my dog, said " I don't why the front desk stated no one was here"! I felt so uneasy leaving him in their hands. He use to see on a regular basis, two specialists and no one ever stated I should be alarmed about his health. The neurologist and cardiologists both stated ," he looks stable and I must be doing a great job"! Both specialists left in 2022 and the facility is nothing but a money making operation! They immediately charged me $5900 for him to be there for 7-8 hours, with the emergency vet calling me twice and stated the treatment is not working. There was no proceedure to save him as he had a tear in his heart muscle and yet , the veterinarian asked me if I wanted him on a ventilator? " What good would that have done except prolong suffering! I requested my 9 1/2 year old Maltese to be put to sleep. No one asked if I wanted to see him before that's done! I am still appaulled, distraught and heart broken! Yes, they refunded approximately $4700 and you really need to ask why? This was only when I sent a stern email to patricia.mendez@pathwayvets. com, i assume this is billing? Unbelieveable how they demonstrate such a lack of compassion for someon's loss of their family pet! They sent a sympathy card many weeks later, only signed by assistants that you don't know. What a cold feeling this left! Please do not bring your loving, family pet here!

I brought my cat Cookie in after he very abruptly had a large dental abscess develop and burst. He was in pretty bad shape, and all the offices I called before being directed to Access were not able to take him. He was taken as their first appointment in Urgent Care as soon as they opened and treated immediately. Dr. Serex was really lovely, and made a point to call me through his visit to update me on what was going on. He’s doing much better now, we’re both very grateful. Thank you. πŸ’œ

I hate hospitals and that goes doubly for animal hospitals. I showed up so worried with a very sick fur baby early this Sunday morning to ACCESS San Fernando Valley. The staff attended to us in a timely, courteous manner. They clearly managed my expectations of wait time and procedures. Our precious little puppers got to be processed for admission to the hospital at the car with me which was so convenient. The staff was easily reachable to answer my questions or calm my concerns as they took care of our girl in intensive care overnight. She returned to us better than ever and we are so grateful to the doctors and staff at this hospital. I hope we don't ever have to go back, but if the need should arise, I am confident in the excellent care we will receive.

The reviews speak volumes ... 1 year later and still receiving many "1" star reviews only because leaving none isnt an option. Have you followed through with the training for your vets as mentioned on my review from the day my life changed forever?

My vet also referred us to the cards dr. Just priorcto eth having to rush there in distress.. I never got to meet the cards doc. Ive heard great things about him.. Unfortunately, dr (loosely use the term doctor) Jung said 2200 or ethan wont see it to tomorrow when cards is in. No words are worth my thoughts of jung. Just wasting air lamenting on my disdain ...
