Dr. Kurtz is our family doctor. I unexpectedly ended up in the hospital on Dr. Kurtz' advice. As my admitting Dr. he pulled together specialists for me, made rounds to check on me daily, even over Thanksgiving, and generally made sure I received the best possible care insofar as it was within his power to arrange. I am making followup appointments with the two specialists this week, and I thank Dr. Kurtz for his excellent advice and excellent care.

Dr. Kurtz always gets me in - even on short notice - if i am sick. He listens to my concerns and is willing to take a natural approach if appropriate, or an aggressive approach if necessary. He looks at the "big picture" and doesn't just see his patients as body parts. Yes, you may wait a little bit in the office or on the phone ...but that is the price you pay for having a doctor who listens to (and cares about) each patient! Additionally, he has a great Physicians' Assistant who is very accessible. I haven't had a go-to general practice Internist for a long time, and it feels great to have a "family doctor" whom I can call whenever I need something medical.
