FOR ALL IN NEED OF HELP WITH ADDICTION!!! Psyclarity has changed my life for the better with a calming, relaxing environment and top notch staff. As a Marine Vet I would recommend this to any brother or sister looking for help. I have researched other recovery options and nothing comes close to this place I came from Texas to their LA house so thankful I did. Food, housing, clothing, appointments, meds, doctor I mean everything is afforded for you here. You're treated as a person not as a number with a max of 6 clients, small group classes for the knowledge and preparation for success!

When I first came in I was lost. The people of this program really care for you, they support you in any way they can. In order to get the best help you have to be honest. They gave me a glimpse of a better life, I had hope that it’s never too late, that it’s okay to ask for help. The people in this program will always have a place in my heart. I am thankful for the experience I had here. Great food and amazing activities. It’s an open place where there is no judgement. We all fall sometimes and it’s okay to get help getting up. If I could rate this place even higher I would. It works if you work it. Thank you Psyclarity !

Overall, my experience wasn’t a bad one. It was my first experience receiving residential treatment. The staff was friendly and easy going. The facility was well kept. From what I observed it was clear a lot of the staff had minimal knowledge of the VA healthcare system. Some of us were not provided with copies of the documents we signed. Some of the clients felt as if certain information about treatment, insurance, and discharge were omitted. Sometimes it felt as if we were asking for a favor just to complete our personal responsibilities, IE pay bills, deal with work, school, etc. There were communication issues amongst some of the staff because we would have to remind them of questions we had asked and still had not received answers. Lots of “I honestly don’t know, sorry,” from some members of the staff. Dr. Chris, our Psychologist, was incredibly helpful and receptive. I felt like a wreck when I first got there but he helped me work through my issues. The group settings were great and their nutritionist was very knowledgeable. The group outings were a great way to get outside for some fresh air. Veterans, be prepared to be asked almost every week if you would like to extend your time at another facility. They allow vets to spend 42 days because the VA can authorize it. Non vets will only do 30. If you extend you most likely will go to San Diego for 60-120 days.

Treatment here was immaculate. The staff here truly cares about the well being of their clients. They go above and beyond to make the whole process of recovering as comfortable as possible. Everyone works as a team to make sure you receive the best care they can provide. Food was also 10/10 forsure👌🏻
